For the Birds
Jimmy's Pop-Pop has a farm and raises birds. Not just your normal birds, he raises peacocks, ducks, chickens, and turkeys. The last time we were home Jimmy and I went down to the farm to see the baby ducks. Yuppers, there were some baby ducks. Well just one mommy duck had babies.
Now, there are probably more babies. We saw a couple of mommy ducks sitting on some eggs. I can't wait till we go home again so we can see the baby birds. The peacocks are pretty cool.
When you go down you can see them sitting in the trees or just walking around. I've even mastered my peacock call. I talk to them from Jimmy's parents house, which is just over the hill from Pop-Pop's. Sometimes the birds will walk up to his parent's house and hang out in the field.

Memorial Day Weekend
Saturday Jimmy and I cleaned the apartment from front to back because it was crazy dirty and we were having company on Sunday. We also did as much as the cooking as we possibly could. I made some crab rangoons, bacon appetizers, pasta salad, a s'mores dessert and Jimmy got the burgers ready. Then we went to the movies and saw Baby Mama. It was a pretty funny movie.
On Sunday we had some of our friends over for a small cookout. Alicia and Alexis came up early and we got to hang out.

It seems like forever since we got to just hang out and chill so I'm really glad that they came up. Jimmy's buddy Marc and his girlfriend Christine came up as well. We cooked some hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and just sat around and talked. It was very relaxing.
On Monday morning, we caught a small parade that went through Mayfield. Then we went to Lackawanna State Park and went on a little hike. The trail was beautiful and awesome. Now we know where we can go mountain biking. When we got home we played a little tennis and then had some dinner.
All in all it was a nice, relaxing Memorial Day weekend!!!!!!!!!

An E-Mail From My Brother
I received this e-mail this morning from my brother...
I hate to say it, but we have lost a Pennsylvania National Guard solders this past week. 35 year old 1st LT Jeff DePrimo who was in my sister company out of West Pittston, Luzerne County. He was killed by a road side bomb; also Killed was a NAVY officer. Also injured in the attack was one of my buddies Eric Urich who was driving for the LT as well as other Pennsylvania Guardsmen. On this Memorial Day weekend take a moment and think what does Memorial Day really mean. To most it is the unofficial start of summer. This is the weekend that everyone that has a pool takes off the covers and gets ready to swim. To others it is the beginning of the block party season and weekly backyard cook outs. Or it mite be the weekend that you finalizes your family summer vacations or you get the flower beds and gardens ready for planting. And to some it’s the beginning of a new chapter in there life, as they graduate high school or college. But what does memorial day real stand for? This is the one day of the year everyone is to take a moment out of there hectic lives and stop and say, thank you and to remember the men and woman who gave there lives for there country and freedoms it gives its citizens.
So please take a minute this Memorial Day weekend and say a prayer for the family members of my fallen comrades. And when you standing along the side walk at you town Memorial Day parade, as the VFW or American Legion honor guard march by. Or as you’re seating up for your picnic and hear that gun salutes and taps playing in the distance. Stop what your doing an give a moment of silence for all the fallen heroes of the United States, because freedom does not come free.
Also take a moment and listen to the songs American Solder by Toby Keith. This song I believe reflexes every ones feelings in the armed forces of the United States. Also listen to the song 8th of November by Big & Rich. This song reflexes the fillings of a Vietnam vet who lived threw an attack where most of his buddies had died. Sometimes a song can sum everything up.
Please pray for my brother and all the men and women who are fighting for our freedom and the fallen heros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dresser Part 2
We did end up buying the dresser last night at K-Mart. It was 50% off. I could hardly wait for Jimmy to put it together. Well ladies and gentlemen here it is...my dresser
Jimmy put my dresser together today and it's perfect. It fits perfectly in the bedroom and looks great. My clothing couldn't fit any better. I'm so happy I finally have a dresser. Thanks for putting it together Jimmy. I love it!

Dresser Part 1
When I first went to Bloom about for school my mom had bought me a dresser at a yard sale for $50. This dresser was an off-whiteish with some pink paint on the side here and there. I kept on saying I was going to paint it a different color, but never really got around to it. After graduation, the dresser traveled to Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill with me. When in Camp Hill, the bottom drawer of the dresser broke. The handle broke off so you couldn't close the drawer all the way. Also, the bottom of the drawer started sticking and falling out, so I really couldn't put too much clothing in the drawer without it getting stuck. When we were moving from Camp Hill to Mayfield, Jimmy and I decided that the dresser had just about had it and that it was time to say good-bye. So we put the dresser out for the garbage man. It was hard parting with the dresser, but I felt it had lived a good life and paid for itself, remember it was only $50. May my dresser rest in peace...
Since we've moved my "dresser" which is full of my t-shirts, and workout clothes has been a brown box that is sitting on top of an end table in our bed room.
It is a little bit of an eye sore and a little bit of a pain in the butt. It's hard to keep it organized and to find what I'm looking for. When everyone comes they get very jealous of my dresser. It seems as though I've never really had a nice dresser. We've been looking for one, but haven't really found one, until now. This past weekend when we were home in Bloomsburg I found on in the K-Mart ad. So we checked it out tonight.
Results will be posted tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute Little Girls
This past weekend Jimmy and I went to Bloomsburg so I could attend a meeting for work and so we could spend some time with the family. On Friday night, Jimmy and I and his parents went to a Japenese restaurant in Williamsport. We had a really nice dinner. Saturday we went to the Spring Fling in Danville and then to the Bloomsburg Firemen's Parade cause Dad was riding his motorcycle with the Legion. What rocked about that was that I got to ride on the motorcycle with him from the house to lunch and then after the parade back home. I love it! It's so much fun riding with Dad. Later that night we went to Cracker Barrel with Wendy and the girls because Kara was sleeping over. Sunday Wendy and Ryan and the girls came over for breakfast and to spend a little time with us. Oh my goodness the girls are getting so big and are so adorable. Kara decided she wanted to try on Pappy's helmet.
She's ready to go for a ride.
Sara is getting so big.
She has so much energy and is into everything. Those girls are so much fun! We love them to pieces!
