My Brother

Last week my brother got to come home for his three day leave before heading over to Afghasitan. He left on Monday morning and won't be home for about a year. He should be back sometime in December or so. His term started when he went for training in December which is why he should be home then. This is his second leave, his first being for a year in Iraq. When he was home last week he said that when he's over there he would be doing MP or Military Police. This leave we should be hearing from him more because he got a laptop for Christmas. My brother turned 30 in 2007. His birthday is April 1st, yup he's an April Fool's baby. He works at the Pottsville Hospital in the ER. When we hear from us and he sends pictures (with his new digital camera he got for Christmas) I'll post them as well. Please keep him and his batillion in your thoughts and prayers.
This is from when he came up for a visit last week.

1/2 Marathon

So I've always had it in my mind that I wanted to run a marathon. It was one of the things on my "To Do List" before I die. When I was staying in Harrisburg the friends I was staying with Mikey and Jenni have run a couple of 1/2 marathons. So I talked to Mikey and he said that it was a lot of training and that maybe I should think about running a 1/2 marathon instead. So I did some research and found one in Allentown.
I thought what the heck if I sign up for it and pay the registration fee I don't really have a choice. I have to run it. I signed up right then and there. Mikey created a training schedule for me which is awesome, cause I really didn't know too much about training to run a half marathon. I've been training since the first Saturday of this month. Today I ran 5 miles. I swear that is the most I've ever ran at one time. Am I crazy to think that I can run 13 miles?!?!?! The half marathon is Sunday, April 27th. I've decided to dedicate this race to two people, my Uncle Andy who was an avid runner. And to my grandfather, who when I was growing up would always make me run saying "I'm training you for the Olympics" and "I'll time you". I know that on the day of the race they will both be cheering me on when I cross that finish line.

And Now the Boys

Here are our boys. Let's start at the top, it just makes it a little easier to explain.

Garred (top left): Garred is involved with Boy Scouts. He also enjoys hunting and fishing and helping out on the farm.

Matt (top right): My brother. He is the oldest. I will post a special blog about him.

Aaron (2nd row from top right): He is a great soccer player. It kinda runs in the family. He is also invovled with basketball and baseball. Aaron helps his dad out on the farm, just like the rest of the Cetnar boys. He loves to hunt and be outside. He is the oldest of the 4 Cetnar boys.

Devin (2nd row from top left): Devin plays soccer. He is the 2nd youngest in the Cetnar boys. Like his brothers he plays a musical instrument. He is a very good student in school. He is also a great hugger.

Jordan (3rd row from top left): Jordan plays football and basketball. I think that's all he plays (it's hard keeping all their sports straight). His sister is Trista. Jordan is all about sports. You can always find him playing something. He likes to fish.

Then there is Brett (3rd row from top right): Brett is a twin, Tyler is his twin brother (4th row from top right). Both of these Cetnar boys play soccer and baseball. They also both play instruments. Both of the boys help with farm duties. Normally Brett wears blue, and Tyler wears another color. Sometimes they like to try and trick you though. But I can tell them apart.

Kris (4th row from top left): Kris like Jordan, plays football. Kris is the quarterback. His sister is Alyssa. Just like his sister you can always find him signing and listening to music. He always seems to keep you on your toes. You never know what he's gonna say. Kris also enjoys hunting and fishing.

And finally Connor (bottom row): Connor is our one and only wrestler of the family. He is a great wrestler. He also raises chickens. Which during the winter time he doesn't like to collect the eggs cause it's cold out. Connor likes helping out on the farm as well. His sister is Julia. They are always together getting into each others hair.

That's our boys!! They are a handful, that's for sure. When they all get together you can find them playing football outside or helping out in the butcher shop or riding bikes. Oh and, they all eat their fair share of food. Some more than others!!!!!! But ya gotta love'em!! That's all my cousins on my mom's side. I hope you got all of that straight.

The Girls

I have a big family, I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. My mom is one of 7. So needless to say holidays are big when we all get together. There are 6 Grandaughters. I'll tell you a little bit about each of them.

I am the oldest, smartest, and prettiest. (Just kidding they are all beautiful young ladies.)

Then there is my cousin Trista. Unfortunately she is not in the picture because she is in Guam. Well actually she was at the time, but she is in the Airforce and is based in Missouri, Whiteman Air Force Base. I do believe that as I am writing this she is on her way back to the states. She is coming home to PA for a little while, so it will be nice to see her.

Alyssa is next in line (she is the one wearing the striped sweater in the picture). She just turned 16 in May. She officially is driving now. She is a very good driver. She is a great field hockey player. Although, I have not gotten to see her play a game yet. I need to this coming season because she is going to be a Senior. She has a great voice. You can always find her singing. She is always busy being invovled with something. She is also wicked smart. She will go far.

Naomi comes next (she is wearing the red sweater). She is 11. At least I think she is. Naomi loves horses. She has one. She plays soccer. She is becoming such a little lady. She is doing great in school, making great progress.

Julia will be 8 this year (top right of the picture). And she always seems to have energy. I don't know where she gets it. She is a very smart girl. She amazes me with some of the things she knows. She is great at soccer. She also dances. Julia also plays baseball and is also cheering.

Kelsey is the youngest of the girls. And just like Julia she has an incrediable amount of energy and life. I swear, I dont know where they get it. She is constantly going. I don't think she ever sits down. She has a horse as well. Her and Naomi are sisters. Kelsey is the one sitting by me in the picture. She too plays soccer. She is so talkative. She always has a story and sometimes I will admit I get lost in the story. Her favorite color is orange. And she loves Spider Man. She was Spider Man for Halloween.

So that's it. That's us girls. My next blog will be about the boys. And let me tell you there are way more boys than girls. I sure do love my girls.

Ma Mère

I have one of the best mothers ever. I know I'm being bias, but what can I say. Growing up it was just my mom, my brother, and I. She took great care of us. She did everything she could to make sure we had the best life she could provide for us. When I was younger she was always making sure I made it to my dance classes and to church functions. During high school, she was always at all of my cheerleading competitions, football games, basketball games, track meets, softball games, if there was something I was invovled in she was there. My mom even went on band trips with us. She supported me all through college, always encouraging me to do my best and to follow my dreams. Of course I have always been her favorite. (HEHEHE) So here are some pics of my mom.

You Learn Something New Every Day

So Jimmy and I were watching TV when this commercial came on about the, Millard Fillmore. And Jimmy said that he was the 13th President and that he did a report on him in the 7th grade. I was like yeah right, he wasn't a President. I had never heard of him. So the bet was on. Jimmy said if he was correct that from tonight, February 15th until our Biggest Loser Weigh-In, that we had to eat 100% healthy and not talk about junk food. And my wager was that if I was right, that we were going to eat as much junk food as I said, when I wanted. So lo and behold, according to the website, http://www.presidentsusa.net/fillmore.html Millard Fillmore was truly the 13th President. So now we have to eat healthy until the end of the month when we weigh in again. Boy howdy, my boyfriend is smart. Also, he informed me that President Taft was so fat that he got stuck in the bathtub at the White House. And he really did, Google it. I have the smartest meathead of a boyfriend in the world!! I love him!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy St. Valentine's Day. Today is about telling those in your life just how much you love them, so make sure you do that. This time last year Jimmy and I were in Camp Hill and we had a crazy amount of snow. We spent the whole day together not doing very much. We did have four-wheel drive so we did get to leave the house. We went to Arby's for lunch. There was lots of snow. Then there was the Valentine's my best friend, Sarah came to visit me. She was staying at my house cause we were going to see Newsboys in concert. We had so much fun that weekend. Sam even got flowers for her, when she was in PA. What a sweet guy, (by the way, they are married now). So don't forget to spread the love. Hugs and kisses!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Jimmy George Keller

Some of you have met and know my Jimmy George, some of you don't. So I'll tell you all about him. Jimmy's birthname is James George Keller III, yup he's the third (so you know what our first boys name will be when we have kids). Jimmy's birthday is March 1, 1982. So technically I'm older than he is, he needs to respect his elders. He's from Bloomsburg. He has an Associates degree in Landscaping & Nursery Management from Penn Tech. In December of 2006 he graduated with his undergraduate from good ol' Bloomsburg University with a degree in Exercise Science. And he's currently attending Marywood University for his Master's degree in Nutrition and his RD.

He has two sisters, Wendy (a.k.a Bendy) and Sam. Both are married and have kids. Kara and Sara belong to Bendy and Ryan, Tristen & Sabrina belong to Sam. Sam got married this summer to John. Jimmy's parents, Jim and Nancy, are two of the most caring people I know. Here is a picture of the Keller family minus Tristen & Sabrina.

Jimmy and I met through a friend of ours when we both were working at Giant. When we first met Jimmy didn't like me that much. He thought I was very loud! (What?!?!?! Me loud?!?!?!) Jimmy moved to Harrisburg the Summer of 06 for an intership. During that time we started hanging out more and started dating. We went our seperate ways for some time still continuing to keep in touch and hang out. In January of 07, we started dating again. During the summer of 07, Jimmy moved in with my roommates and I in Camp Hill. He was working at L.A. Fitness. The week of Thanksgiving we moved to Mayfield. We have an amazing and cute apartment. Which we love!!

Jimmy and I have an amazing relationship. We always have fun no matter what we are doing. We love to eat! We both really like to workout! Jimmy is into lifting weights, and I've started to get into that as well. This picture is from this summer. We are making our "mean faces"
That's my Jimmy George. He's great. I love him to pieces!!

What I do

I figured I would tell everyone a little bit about my job and what I do exactly. I'm currently working for ActionCOACH which is the number 1 business coaching franchise in the world. The company was established in 1993 in Australia by a guy named Brad Sugars. Brad recognized early on that most owners of small and medium-sized businesses were unaware of how to effectively grow their businesses and achieve their goals. The company began franchising in 1997, and now has nearly 1,000 offices in 22 countries around the globe. Entrepreneur Magazine has ranked ActionCOACH as the #1 business consulting franchise in the world for the last five years, one of the Top 100 Franchises overall, 4 years running, one of the Top 20 Home-Based Franchises, and one of the Top 50 America’s Top Global Franchises. In PA we have 26 coaches all across the state. We are growing.

So now you ask what a coach does, basically a Business Coach is just like a sporting coach. A sporting coach pushes an athlete to achieve optimum performance, provides support when they are exhausted and teaches the athlete to execute plays that their competition does not anticipate. Well that's what a business coach does for business owners. The role of the Business Coach is to coach business owners to improve their business through guidance, support and encouragement. Having business coaching will help owners of small and medium sized businesses with their sales, marketing, management, team building and so much more. Just like a sporting coach, a business coach will make you focus on the game. They do this through one-on-one coaching, group coaching, workshops, seminars, and a whole lot of other ways.

So my job is to manage all of the marketing that takes place across the whole state of PA. There is a fund, called the 3% fund, that the coaches have to contribute to. I manage that fund. Decide how the money is being spent on marketing. I also help new coaches that are just coming out of training with their marketing and event planning. Once our state website gets up and running I'll be handling that as well. So basically I get to spend money that doesn't belong to me. How sweet is that!?!?!? And what's the best part on top of it all, I GET TO WORK FROM HOME!!!!!! That's right, starting Monday I'll be working from home. Since I started in December I've been training in Camp Hill during the week. Staying with friends of ours and then heading home on the weekends. It will be nice to finally live in our apartment.

So that's the jist of what I do. If you really want to know more you can always ask. I know it might not see fun, but it really is.

There is always a first time for everything

So one of my best friends, Sarah, introduced me to this whole blogging thing. She and her husband, Sam, both have blogs and I love reading what amazing things are going on in their lives. They are unbelieveable and inspiring people. I loved reading it so much that I decided to jump on the ban wagon and get my own. So here it is. My first official blog. I figured this would be a good way to let family and friends know what's going on in my life seeing as though I don't get to see them that often. Plus, some of my family has no clue what myspace is. Well I'm going to check out what this blog thing is about and see what I can do. Smile!!
